Mini-camp is over. Content Day was just a few days ago. OTAs are just around the corner and the month of getting to know each teammate very well is getting closer. This is where players get cut or thrive. It’s gruelling. It's competitive to make the team.

It shows that talent alone will not help you make the team. Everyone is talented!

Whether you are picked in the draft's first round to an undrafted free agent, every player will contribute. As talent alone will not ensure your spot on the team. Talent with hard work, dedication and love for football with a willingness to learn will give you that edge It will consume you.

Being a professional athlete is not just about playing the game, it’s also about the intangibles – from the neck up, especially for a quarterback.

On 9th July meet the Los Angeles Trojans.

And while you are there meet their quarterback, Luke Matthews, his teammates, coaching staff and their families. And for the first time realises that his family and football are not the only love in his life.

Melanie Maynard will rock his world. And Luke is fearless when it comes to her!
