2022 - A Year In Review


  

As we near the end of 2022, I’m reflecting on the year. I’m so grateful to have experienced God’s faithfulness this year.

I’m so grateful for so many things…like health, family and friendships. And as I pray for world peace I’m thankful for the wonderful people in my life.

Writing has been a lifelong wish of mine, and this year my first short book was published in April through Draft2Digital😊. As you can imagine it was such an exciting time for me!

Coming through the other end of Covid 19, what was there to lose when our time on this earth can be short or long? Covid 19 has shown us this...why waste the time we have…

After years of holding back, I finally went ahead and put pen to paper. Covid 19 was my creative catalyst and during that once-a-generation experience, I penned Midsummer.

Since a teenager, I have loved the works of the playwright, William Shakespeare. I have loved it since my English teacher put one of his plays in front of the class. Ever since then and whenever I’m given the chance, I make my way to The Globe and see those plays.

Midsummer Night’s Dream wasn’t my favourite play but on one summer evening, I saw the play at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, London, and that midsummer evening, the play came alive for me. And since then I often wondered what William Shakespeare was going through when he wrote that play.

Midsummer is my musing on a What If…


Midsummer is set in the Summer of 1595 when Shakespeare may have written his famous play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. It's also his final summer with his son Hamnet.

I’m putting the final touches to two new books coming out in 2023…Finding You In Hollywood is out in March and The Quarterback is out in July. Both are available to order. I've also created the Soundtrack to their love on Spotify, and I cannot wait to share them with you!
